Worcester (Office-based – remote working 1 to 2 days a week can be discussed)

Our client is a well-established UK manufacturer and supplier supporting businesses across a wide range of industries. We are looking for an experienced and motivated Outbound Sales Executive to join their team at our Worcester office on a full-time, office-based basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for proactively generating sales opportunities, qualifying inbound enquiries, and supporting new business growth by booking appointments and allocating qualified leads to the New Business (NB) team.

Key Responsibilities

• Proactively contact existing and prospective customers via outbound calls
• Responsible for qualifying all incoming leads and enquiries from new customer potentials
• Allocating qualified leads and enquiries to the NB Managers
• Booking appointments with qualified new prospects for the NB team
• Identify sales opportunities and convert leads into confirmed orders where appropriate
• Manage and maintain accurate customer records using CRM and ERP systems
• Work to clearly defined KPIs, including call volumes, conversion rates, and revenue targets
• Build strong, long-term relationships with customers to encourage repeat business
• Handle customer enquiries professionally and efficiently

Skills & Experience Required

• Proven experience in an outbound sales, telesales, or lead qualification role
• Demonstrable track record of working to and achieving KPIs and sales targets
• Experience using CRM and ERP systems, specifically Epicor and Pipedrive
• Confident, professional telephone manner
• Strong communication, questioning, and listening skills to qualify opportunities effectively
• Strong negotiation and closing skills
• Self-motivated and results-driven
• Resilient and positive under pressure
